5 Things to Do When He Pulls Back
It has happened to the best of us. You are getting to know someone and then all of a sudden, there is a shift. He starts texting less and less. The texts are getting dryer, the requests to go out less frequent. Whatever should you do?
1. Match Energy
If he is taking a long time to respond to your texts, then, honey, double the time to respond back to his. Seriously. You’re a busy woman with a life and you’re not waiting around for some man who may not even be your boyfriend yet, to text you. You have a beautiful life to occupy yourself with, so take your time to respond. Don’t overshare when you do respond. Don’t overfunction to get “get his attention back”. Simply match the energy that he is giving you.
2. Don’t Have a Sit Down
Honestly, not only do men not respond to words the way women do, they don’t process emotions the way we do either. However, they do respond to action, which is why you should definitely pull back in response to his decreasing effort. Sitting down to ask him “why things have changed” and “Is anything wrong” is the very last thing you want to do. Just carry on with your life. He’ll figure it out and step it up, or he’ll fade away.
