I could have been the one to pull the plug a few weeks ago, but I was curious how long he was going to breadcrumb and drag it out. Besides, he kept asking me out. I was not invested and started dating other men around the time he started to get inconsistent. I think for ego purposes, part of me wishes I would have said something first, but I’m in a new country and the delusional part of me was also holding out a bit of hope.
